Monthly Landscape Water Balance Reporting Tool

The Landscape Water Balance Reporting Tool is designed to provide a comprehensive and consistent source of information on landscape water balances in Australia's Drainage Divisions and River Basins. Landscape water balances for recent months are updated each month for all Drainage Divisions and River Basins in Australia.
A model-data assimilation system has been developed by CSIRO using data from the Bureau of Meteorology to estimate daily and monthly water balances by 5 km pixel for the Australian continent. These data have been aggregated by BRS to report monthly water balances for each Australian River Basin and Drainage Division. These include estimates - by land-use or land cover type - of rainfall, total evaporation, soil moisture, runoff and deep drainage. more...
