ACLUMP is a consortium of Australian and State Government partners. It is part of the national natural resource information co-ordination arrangements established by the National Land & Water Resources Audit.
The main outputs for ACLUMP are:
- Mapping -nationally consistent land use mapping coverage for Australia at both 'continental' and 'catchment' scale.
- Land management practices -developing a national information system for land management practices.
- Coordination & standards -agreed national technical standards, including the Australian Land Use and Management (ALUM) Classification.
- Communication -a national land use data directory and the maintenance of land use datasets on Australian and State government data repositories.
- Reporting -regional and national reporting of land use and land management practices.
