Make sure that you have ArcReader or some form of GIS software installed on your machine first. Only ArcReader 9.1 or higher will open the .PMF files. Note: Depending on what you already have installed on your computer, the install may be a minimum of 62 MB or a maximum of 108 MB for a full install.

How can I make the .PMF files open more quickly?

Copy the .PMF files onto your computer. As long as you have ArcReader or GIS software on your computer you will be able to view the files.
