Step 1 - Selecting and managing your Weather Stations
This site allows you to select any number of the 3000+ weather stations in southern Australia.
You must select at least one weather station before using the outlook tools on this site. You can then select as many weather stations as you like.
You can select a weather station using a map or a list.
Selecting a weather station using the map
Click on the map to find the station you want. After clicking a few times, weather stations (with numbers) will appear both on the map and next to it on the right.
You can select a weather station by clicking the box next to the weather station (or weather stations) then click 'Add Stations'.
More instructions are available on the map page.
Selecting a weather station using the list
To find the weather station you want, you start by choosing the state from the first list and click 'SELECT'. You then choose from the list of available local areas and finally from a list of weather stations.
Remember to click 'SELECT' after choosing your option from each of the lists. That way the system will know what information to put in the next list
More instructions are available on the list page.
Managing your weather stations
Once you have selected a weather station, it is added to 'Your Weather Stations' list. This page allows you to select one station as the 'Home Station', as well as add new ones and delete current ones.
Your list of weather stations will be remembered, so the next time you log on, your weather station list will be waiting.
Once you have at least one weather station in your list, you can get lots of historical and outlook information.
