The report provides the results of four phases of research undertaken for the DAFF Animal Welfare Unit to support the Australian Animal Welfare Strategy. It reviews approaches to stakeholder analysis and identifies key stakeholders of the Strategy. A brief review of previous research on values, attitudes, and beliefs towards animals and animal welfare issues, and the findings of a survey of key stakeholders are also provided.
