A national set of core attributes for surveying, mapping and monitoring weeds of national significance

Authors: R. Thackway, I. McNaught & D. Cunningham

An important part of development of standards and guidelines to manage information on weeds is to achieve national acceptance of core attributes for survey and mapping weeds of national significance and other nationally significant weeds. The Bureau was invited to present the agreed attributes for survey and mapping weeds of national significance to the 14th Annual Weed Management Conference, held at Wagga Wagga in September 2004. This conference paper is reproduced here with the kind permission of the conference organiser, the New South Wales Weeds Society.
